About us

Every 3 seconds someone in the world develops dementia. With an ever-aging population the number of people who suffer from dementia will double by 2030 and more than triple by 2050. The World Health Organization calls dementia a public health priority. However, currently there are no therapies or drugs on the market. neotiv is a team of scientists, developers and technically passionate people that share a vision to prevent and intervene dementia. We have created a software system to detect early signs of dementia to enable early intervention of the disease.

neotiv is a proud spin-off from Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg in close collaboration with the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE). We are funded by renown investors and science transfer grants that enable us to realize our mission to improve people’s lives. Therefore, we are looking for a passionate Information Security Analyst who supports our vision and helps securing our company 


Your responsibilities

  • Realize system integration
  • Maintain Linux server / administer Office365
  • Maintain GPDR compliance
  • First / second level support
  • Support the product team to achieve the best practices in data security

Your profile

  • You have strong knowledge about Linux (Debian) server administration
  • You are familiar with GPDR and/or HIPAA
  • You have good knowledge about encryption technologies
  • You have some knowledge about services like Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Bacula, SonarSource
  • You have good communication and writing skills in English (and German)
  • You are a strong team player
