About us

Every 3 seconds someone in the world develops dementia. With an ever-aging population the number of people who suffer from dementia will double by 2030 and more than triple by 2050. The World Health Organization calls dementia a public health priority. However, currently there are no therapies or drugs on the market. neotiv is a team of scientists, developers and technically passionate people that share a vision to prevent and intervene dementia. We have created a software system to detect early signs of dementia to enable early intervention of the disease.

neotiv is a proud spin-off from Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg in close collaboration with the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE). We are funded by renown investors and science transfer grants that enable us to realize our mission to improve people’s lives. Therefore, we are looking for a passionate Backend Developer (f/m/x) who supports our vision and helps to implement our application.  

Your responsibilities

  • Develop modern solutions and improve existing ones with ASP.NET Core / C#
  • Write and maintain performant ASP.NET Core code
  • Make an impact on future features and participate in product design
  • Work and communicate with our experienced team
  • Maintain a clear documentation 

Your profile

  • You have some experience in writing applications in C#, Java or similar
  • You have some server-side development skills and maybe experience with MSSQL, Swagger and xUnit
  • You have some knowledge about technologies like JSON, RESTful, GitLab or similar
  • You have good communication skills in English (and German) and the ability to work with an interdisciplinary agile team
  • You are a strong team player
